I have been training for powerlifting since 2012 and coaching since 2016. As a coach I have trained lifters from all levels - complete novices up to world championship competitors. As a lifter I have extensive competition experience, several Scottish champion titles across multiple years, age and weight classes as well as an Open squat record. I have been self coached for the vast majority of my training career and I always use myself at patient zero for new ideas. As far as qualifications, I hold a British Powerlifting Level 2 Coach qualification, and am working towards Level 3 PT and Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy.

Karolina Jarosinska (@karolina.est)

I have been involved in strength training since 2014, trying my hand at bodybuilding, Crossfit, Olympic Weightlifting before finally settling in powerlifting in 2016. As a coach, I am most interested in the individualisation required in programming for female athletes and injury management and prevention. I am a level 4 Strength and Conditioning coach, as well as holding Level 2 British Powerlifting Coaching and Level 3 PT. As a lifter I am proud of having stuck with the sport through my fair share of adversity, learning how to deal with injury physically and mentally - experiences which help me as a coach to empathise with and assist lifters who may be going through similar situations.
